The travelers arrived from the mainland to Portoferraio where they loaded their luggage into the car. After Colle Palombaia they were brought on a donkey to the beach. From there the journey continued on the \u201cGuzzo\u201d according to Fetovaia. Finally, the rest of the way on the road in Fetovaia, which was built in the late
