By ferry:
Car ferries leave Piombino almost hourly for Portoferraio in the summer season. There are also a couple of daily ferries for Porto Azzurro and Rio Marina.The main shipping companies are the Toremar and Mobylines. It takes one hour to cross the 10 km separating the island from the continent. The harbours of Elba are Portoferraio (the main one), Porto Azzurro and Rio Marina.
Recently a new "fast" boat carrying a limited number of cars is in service. The crossing Piombino-Portoferraio takes one hour. A hydrofoil service (no cars) takes 40 minutes.

For the ferry tickets you can contact via Mail the travel agency "Bruno Viaggi" . With them you will pay the ticket the price you would pay buying the ticket directly on the harbour (they do not take any commission and postal fees).

The train station of Piombino Marittima is 50 meters far to the ferries departures. (For timetable see www.trenitalia.it).

From beginning June until middle September, Bus connection 'Gran Turismo' Milano - Elba (www.lineservizi.it).

In order to reach Fetovaia by bus from Portoferraio take the line Marina di Campo - Fetovaia (see working days and holidays timetable.
How to reach us:
Once in Portoferraio, just follow the directions for 'Procchio'. In the little village take left in direction of marina di Campo and then follow always the indications 'Cavoli - Seccheto - Fetovaia'.
Fetovaia is 27 km away from Portoferraio and 10 km from Marina di Campo.
You can also reach Fetovaia coming from the West, leaving Procchio for Marciana Marina, Marciana, Patresi, Chiessi and Pomonte.
The road is longer, goes up an down and with a lot of curves, but the panorama of the coast line is spectacular.
Hotel Galli is situated on the way which leads down to the beach of Fetovaia.
